About Me
I am an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science & Software Engineering at the University of Western Australia.
My background is in Mathematics with both my undergraduate degree and PhD being in Mathematics, but my research interests are in discrete mathematics and combinatorics and I have taught Computer Science for many years.
I am married to Jane, who I met in Waterloo, Canada and we have two daughters Amy and Sophie.
Other than my family, my main recreational interests are tennis, swimming, trying to grow Australian native plants and various mathematical recreations. I occasionally read some books in my almost non-existent spare time, mostly non-fiction.
