Dr Eunjung Holden   BSc(Hons) MSc PhD W.Aust  Adjunct Research Fellow

EJ completed a BSc(Hons), a MSc and a PhD within the Department of Computer Science & Software Engineering at UWA. EJ worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the Department from 1989 to 1993, and during that appointment, she completed an MSc thesis, and conducted a part of her PhD study. Her Master''''s thesis was on the deaf sign language translator system that interprets English into signs using computer graphics. For her PhD thesis, she worked on the reverse problem, that is the automated recognition of sign language using computer vision. She completed her PhD thesis in 1997. Since February 1999, she has been a postdoctoral researcher supported by the ARC.
